RICARDO CAPAZARIO

Group Chief Executive Officer

  • Ricardo has 27 years of experience as a founder and advisor in the retail and technology space
  • Having founded and developed a clothing retail business in South Africa in his earlier career, Ricardo founded AdvanceMobility in 2005 – a technology led pioneering solution for retail Sales Force Automation
  • Ric and his partners sold the business to Dimension Data in in 2016
  • He has been an advisor to DD for the past 8 years
  • Ricardo is leveraging his experience to bring technology, leadership and growth to BCG

CHARL HARMSE

Group Chief Financial Officer

  • A Chartered Accountant and holds an Honours Degree in Accounting from UNISA amongst other qualifications.
  • Over 15 years of financial management experience in multiple industry sectors, including, construction, energy and financial services. Charl started his professional career with Tenk Loubser and Associates in 2005 as an Audit Manager.
  • In 2018 Charl was appointed Group Tax Manager at Lonrho and was transferred to Brands Consumer Group as Group CFO in July 2021.

FRANCOIS VAN NIEKERK

General Manager - BCG Supply Chain

  • 27 Years’ experience within procurement and supply chain. Strong strategic leadership and management qualities that are supported by a high level of business acumen and autonomy in leading high-pressure work environment businesses, departments and/or driving projects.
  • Multi skilled in a number of supply chain management functions that include demand planning & forecasting, strategic sourcing, procurement, inbound & outbound logistics, warehousing, fleet management and technology utilization, honed through extensive university & corporate training and 27 years on the job experience.

ELVIS MADEKUTSIKWA

General Manager (BA MALAWI)

  •  20+ years’ experience in various industry sectors with 10 of those years in the FMCG sector within the SADC region
  •  Joined Brands Africa in 2013, has held several positions in the commercial division, before appointment as the GM for Malawi.
  • Holder of a B.com Honors degree in Economics, and a Graduate Dip in Marketing (IMM, SA)
